When the pandemic hit, our team quickly pivoted to manufacture and distribute 3-layered cloth masks. We supplied them free to migrant workers and rural poor. Despite lockdown constraints, available tailors volunteered their time. This initiative not only met urgent health needs but created livelihood for local women. Our work was well-received by both the public and local authorities. It proved the power of responsive grassroots action.
